Your initial visit establishes the foundation for your personalized wound care. We'll conduct a thorough health and wound assessment, developing a tailored plan to optimize healing. To ensure comprehensive care, we'll also coordinate with your other healthcare specialists, working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcome.
A wound care specialist works in addition to your existing home health team, not as a replacement. We provide specialized expertise in wound management, offering advanced techniques and treatments that may be beyond the scope of general home health care. We collaborate closely with your home health nurses and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive care plan. Think of it as specialized expertise, working in tandem with your existing care, to achieve the fastest and most effective healing.
Our mobile wound care team brings expert wound care directly to your bedside. This is especially helpful if you're unable to leave home or lack transportation. We provide the same level of specialized care as a clinic, but in the comfort of your own home.
After the initial wound assessment, our wound care providers will establish a plan of care to determine the frequency of visits needed to provide the appropriate care for your wound.
